Telecom Expense Management
My hope is to use this blog to show how the world of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) is affected by recent trends in telecommunications, mobility, software, outsourcing, spend management techniques, and whatever else might end up affecting the major players in the field.
In looking at prior attempts to blog this sector, it looks like most of these attempts post one "Hello World!" entry, follow it up with one or two entries, then stop within a month. I don't intend to follow in their footsteps because I feel it's important that there's at least one blog out here on telecom expense management that isn't driven solely by vendors.
As the telecom world gets more complicated and communications convergence occurs, telecom expense management is only going to become more difficult and more specialized in ways that your firm may not be prepared to handle. Are your spend techniques and methods robust enough to keep up with your technology? Hopefully, I'll be able to help you see whether that's the case or not.
